  Formentera Island
The smallest of the Balearic Islands. The tiny island is located just 4 nautical miles from Ibiza Town and is just 20km from end to end. The only tourist areas are along the long stretches of beach where windsurfing and scuba diving are very popular and among the best in Europe.
Due to the fact that there is no airport on the island, the progression of the island has been somewhat restrained and it has managed to maintain it's slower, more traditional way of life. There are famous salt lakes here and no fresh water - rain water is recycled.
Flights for the island will arrive at the nearby Ibiza airport. From Formentera you are just a short ferry ride away from Ibiza. This makes Formentera an ideal base for hopping across to Ibiza for the nightlife
  Ibiza Island / Eivissa
Eivissa is a very popular tourist destination, especially due to its legendary riotous nightlife [ mainly in Ibiza Town, the island's capital on the eastern shore ].
Majorca Island  -  a very popular tourist destination

  Wikipedia   -   History of Spain
The original peoples of the Iberian peninsula (in the sense that they are not known to have come from elsewhere), consisting of a number of separate tribes, are given the generic name of Iberians. This includes the Basque, the only pre-Roman Iberian people surviving to the present day as a separate ethnic group......
