One can see how it was possible to build something as huge as the walled enclosure, which has preserved its original 16th-century layout.
  Sant Jaume Bastion
The main theme of the Sant Jaume Bastion, opened in spring 2008 and situated in Ronda Calvi, is military technology in modern history and how fortifications changed and gunpowder artillery evolved. The Governor's House on the southern side of the castle is a group of residential buildings for government representatives. Alfonso III of Aragon must have stayed here during his short stay on the island in 1286, according to the chronicler Ramón Muntaner.
  Can Botino
Built in the mid-17th century by Genoese builders for a family of Italian merchants. The building is an almost unique example of classical Renaissance architecture in Eivissa.

Cuisine  -  Ibiza Recipes

The people of Ibiza are huge fans of fresh, natural products. In the past it was impossible to find a country house that was not supplied with food from its own vegetable plot, its own fruit trees and its own livestock. In fact, there are still many homes where this tradition is kept alive, as the people of Ibiza are tremendously fond of their food.
The sea provides a fabulous variety of fish and shellfish, which can be eaten freshly caught and with few additional ingredients. The island's forests also contain unexpected surprises, such as delicious wild fungi (rovellons) growing under the pine trees or juicy green asparagus that pop up anarchically at the edges of forest trails.

Every Saturday and every Sunday from 10 to 15h in Ibiza, in the Old Market will be a market for local products.
