  Barcelona Zoo [ Parc Zoològic de Barcelona ]
The zoo first opened its doors in September 1892 on the day of the patron saint of the city, Mare de Deu de la Mercè, celebrated. It was put down at the place which had been released after the Universal Exhibition of 1888 in the Parc de la Ciutadella. The Parc Zoològic is 13 hectares and contains 7500 animals.
  Botanical garden Barcelona
The garden is located on the Montjuïc mountain, southeast of the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium and has approximately 1500 species. The garden is shaped like a large amphitheater and overlooks the city. The construction of the park beautified a neglected part of the mountain between 1940 and 1970 was a slum - the Can Valero.   Giants of Catalonia [ Giant puppets ] 
The giants are usually hollow figures several meters tall, with a painted papier maché head and arms, the rest of the body being covered in cloth and other clothing. The figures usually depict archetypes of the town, such as the bourgeois and the peasant woman, or historical figures of local relevance, such as a founding king and queen, or pairs of Moorish and Christian nobles. Barcelona's Montjuïc is a broad shallow hill with a relatively flat top overlooking the harbour, to the southwest of the city centre. The Anella Olympica (Olympic Ring) includes the central venues of the 1992 Olympic Summer Games.

Park Guell is a city park in the Gracia district in the northeast of Barcelona with an area of ​​15 hectares of dense pine forests, avenues of palms and a tree-lined square. A colorful bank (a giant snake) winds through the park (the Garden of Eden) as a rendezvous place (the apple).
  Parc de la Ciutadella 
The Parc de la Ciutadella is the largest park in Barcelona. It is very popular among the inhabitants of Barcelona . Built in 1888, the park houses a romantic English-style garden surrounded by two tree-lined boulevards, a monumental waterfall and a pond. In this area there are several museums and the zoo of Barcelona.

Tibidabo is a mountain [ 512 meters ] overlooking Barcelona. It gives you a spectacular views over the city and the surrounding coastline. There is an amusement park, a telecommunications tower [ Torre de Collserola ], and a Catholic church, the Temple de Sagrat Cor, at the top, all of which are visible from most of the city.   Torre Agbar   -   38-storey tower
The Torre Agbar is located between Avinguda Diagonal and Carrer Badajoz, near Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes, which marks the gateway to the new technological district of Barcelona, Spain. It was designed by French architect Jean Nouvel.
The main materials used in the construction of the building were concrete which comprises the structure of the tower and aluminum and glass in the form of 59,619 strips of painted sheet metal of different colours, covering the approximately 16,000 m2 of exterior surface. In addition, the glass has different inclinations and opacities which combined with the different shades of aluminum alter the colour balance of the tower as a function of time of day and season of the year concerned.

Barcelona Zoological Park first opened its gates on the Day of the Mercè, patron saint of Barcelona, 1892. The collection of animals on show there came from a private collection kept by Lluís Martí i Codolar at La Granja Vella, his estate in Horta. He offered the animals to Barcelona City Council, and the mayor, Manuel Porcar, gave his approval to their purchase and the subsequent move to the publicly-owned site that was left vacant in Ciutadella Park after the 1888 Universal Exposition.
