Palazzo Madama, on Turin's main square, is a classical building which once contained the original ancient
Roman city walls. The Duomo in Piazza Sant Giovanni, the cathedral built in 1497 is a fine example of Renaissance architecture. The magnificent 19th century tower, Mole Antoneliana dominates Turin.
