West Africa is the region of western Africa, including Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Gambia [ The Gambia ], Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo

Cameroon, Cape Verde, Chad, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Mauritania, São Tomé and Príncipe, and Western Sahara are sometimes also considered as part of West Africa.

East Africa is a region generally considered to include: Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Tanzania, Uganda
