Home Place has a private 3/4 acre fishing lake well stocked with Roach, Tench, Perch, masses of Golden Rudd and the occasional uninvited Trout. It is a great way to pass the odd evening relaxing while on holiday. The lake is managed as a good "hobby lake"and is ideal for the occasional fisherman and those learning the sport. It is not a professional Carp lake.

The season runs from mid-october until the first Sunday in April, with the prime months being December to March.
