Located north of Derby, on a confluence of the rivers Rother and Hipper. Chesterfield received its market charter in 1204 from King John. Ca. 250 stalls can still be found in the town centre every Monday, Friday and Saturday. A flea market takes place each Thursday.

Cascades Gardens is a beautiful 4 acre public garden set in the historic village of Bonsall, near Matlock Derbyshire. It is open to the public 10.00am to 5.00pm on Wednesdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays between 1st April to 30th September.
The public gardens at Cascades surrounds the ruins of an old corn mill.
