Marian Shrine Knock - Ireland's National Marian Shrine
Located in County Mayo on the West Coast of Ireland. The Story of Knock began on the 21st August 1879
when Our Lady, St. Joseph and St. John the Evangelist appeared at the south gable of Knock Parish Church.
The apparition was witnessed by fifteen people, young and old. From this miraculous occurrence Knock has grown to the status of an internationally recognised Marian Shrine.

Castlebar 4 Days Walks [ beginning of July ]
The walks offer a wide choice of routes to suit all levels of fitness. On each of the four days of the festival
we have a 10km, 20km and 40km road walk and a ramble of approximately six hours duration.
