The Battle of Cambrai (November 20 - December 3, 1917) was a British campaign of World War I. Noted for the first successful use of tanks, the British attack ended as another failure.
Eperlecques Bunker - see Le Blockhaus Located in a wood, this bunker is enormous : 1 hectare and 130,000 tons of concrete, 22 meters high.
Planned as the first launch base for ballistic rockets, this bunker was intended to serve as a factory for the
production of liquid oxygen fuel and the assembly of the V2 rocket. This visit based on a laser audio-guiding
and a video, will take you through the history and technology of those unforgettable years.
