  Rotherfield
Rotherfield parish lies to the south of Tunbridge Wells in the High Weald, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Within the parish boundaries lies Bream Wood, a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest. See Rotherfield Parish Council.
  Rye   -   small town
Perched on a hill, overlooking the River Rother and Romney Marsh, this ancient town is the sort of place you thought existed only in your imagination.
With its steep cobbled streets and picture-postcard cottages, Rye is a charming town. Surrounding attractions include Camber Sands and Winchelsea.

Where William, Duke of Normandy, defeated King Harold II to become William I in 1066. See Wikipedia.
  Bexhill Museum
The Museum gives incredible insight into the history of Bexhill, its famous residents and visitors, and the important historic milestones that have made Bexhill internationally famous.
Over one hundred and thirty million years ago Iguanodon, a huge plant eating dinosaur, ten metres and long and weighing 2 tons roamed Bexhill. Fossil dinosaur teeth, bones and foot prints are on display at the museum and new examples are still regularly being found in and around Bexhill.

  The Uckfield Festival 
The Uckfield festival, an annual week long event is held during July of each year. The Festival celebrates the skills and talents of Uckfield residents.
  Uckfield Carnival [ Uckfield Bonfire & Carnival Society ]
Uckfield Carnival is always held on the first Saturday in September each year. Many people join in with the celebrations dressing up for the torch light procession through the town, helping to raise money for local charities and deserving causes.
