  Costa Brava [ province of Girona in Catalonia ]
Costa Brava  [ Wild Coast ] from the Spanish / French boarder till the city of Blanes.
Villages at the Costa Brava : Cadaqués, Rosas, Begur, Calella, Palamós, Platja d'Aro, Tossa de Mar, Lloret de Mar and Blanes. La Platja d'Aro , Rosas, Blanes and  Lloret are very popular with youngsters.
  Costa Calida [ Murcia ]
The Costa Calida possibly has one of the best climates of all the costas. It is possible to find quiet beaches, small resorts, and to the north, the Mar Menor, a saltwater lagoon separated from the sea by a 30km stretch of sand. Being separated, the Mar Menor can be at a higher temperature than the Mediterranean and has a higher level of salts thought to have beneficial effects.
The Costa Calida is serviced to some degree by Murcia airport, less than 1hr drive to all parts or Alicante airport, 1 to 1.5hrs to the north.

  Costa de Almeria [ Andalucia ]
The Costa de Almeria possibly has one of the best climates of all the costas. It was not developed at the time of the better known costas and it is possible to find quiet beaches and small resorts. The Costa de Almeria is serviced by Almeria airport which is withn 1hrs drive to all parts although the north of the costa is also serviced by Alicante, approximately 2hrs drive to the north. The southern end of the costa is also serviced by Malaga airprot, approximately 2- 2.5hrs drive to the west.

  Costa de la Luz [ Andalucia ]
The Costa de la Luz extends along the Atlantic coastline of the Andalusian provinces of Huelva and Cadiz, featuring long beaches of golden sands.
This costa is largely undeveloped though some areas are popular with surfers and windsurfers.
The Costa de la Luz is serviced by airports at Sevilla and Jerez

The Costa Tropical has an attractive coastline with small beaches and rugged rocks. Inland are the Alpujarras well known as walking area, Sierra Nevada where it is possible to ski all year round, and the city of Granada with the famous Alhambra. The Costa tropical is serviced by Malaga airport, approximately 1.5hrs to the west.

  Costa Verde   -   North Coast of Spain
The Costa Verde [ the green coast ] does not suffer the lack of water experienced by the costas on the Mediterranean or the Costa de la Luz further south. As a result, it enjoys relatively lush and attractive plant growth amongst the mountains that run down to the sea. Parts of the Costa Verde are known for their cuisine and many of the tourists there are likely to Spanish.
