The city of Huesca lies at the edge of the gently sloping plains which lead to the River Ebro, and near the foothills of the impressive Pyrenees.   Jaca   -   Jaca    -   near the border with France
Jaca was the capital of Aragon until 1097 and also the capital of Jacetania. Located in the midst of the Pyrenees in the province of Huesca on the Aragón River at the crossing of two great early medieval routes, one from Pau to Zaragoza. A city out of which the County and Kingdom of Aragon developed.
"To whom it may concern, from the East to the West, from North to South that I want to built a city in my village that will be called Jaca". Those were the words of king Sancho Ramirez, turning Jaca the first city of the way of Saint James and the capital of the Aragon Kingdom. The monarch, from 1077 a. C. Granted its inhabitants and every person who settle down in Jaca a "fuero" a juridiction that regulated the population space and the relationship among its inhabitant. It would be used as model for other foundations of the same king inside the way of Saint James, e.g. Estella and Sangüesa.
  Saragossa City   -   Municipality of Zaragoza
City located on the Ebro river and its tributaries, the Huerva and Gállego, near the centre of the region, in a valley with a variety of landscapes. Saragossa is famous for its folklore, a renowned local gastronomy, and landmarks such as the Basílica del Pilar, La Seo Cathedral and the The Aljafería Palace.
Due to the extremely favorable situation of the city, centrally located between the major Spanish cities and with excellent rail, Zaragoza has become a major commercial and industrial city. With the high speed train you're within half an hour in Madrid and Barcelona.
  Tarazona   -   Municipality of Tarazona 
Tara is in the middle of the river valley Queiles, located in the foothills of the Moncayo. It is a crossroads between Aragon, Navarre, Castile and La Rioja.

Dinopolis Teruel is a combined theme park and museum centred around dinosaurs. Promoted as a paleontological park, it includes a life-size robotic model of a Tyrannosaurus rex. The museum also owns three other museums in the surrounding area, which display the remains of dinosaurs discovered in the region.

  Lacuniacha Park, Tena Valley
Lacuniacha Park is a 30-hectare mountain biopark where you can enjoy closeness of wild animals in semi -wild conditions: chamois, Spanish Ibex, European bison, Prezwalski horses, Northern Lynx, fallow deer, reindeer, wolves and many more.

  Monasterio de San Juan de la Pena [ Holy Grail ]
Past, present and future of Aragon in a same space. The monastery is a religious complex in the town of Santa Cruz de la Serós, at the south-west of Jaca, in the province of Huesca. It was one of the most important monasteries in Aragon in the Middle Ages.
  Valle de Benasque   -   Benasque Valley
l Benasque Valley is located northwest of the province of Huesca, a little over 100 km from the capital of the province.  The valley has road connections to Lleida (133 km), Zaragoza (220 km) and Barcelona (300 km), the latter two international airport and all are well connected with national and international network of motorways and railways.

  Zaragoza City's Fiestas del Pilar   -   Grand festival in Zaragoza
The festival is based on a belief that Virgin Mary appeared to Saint James standing on a pillar. Nuestra Señora del Pilar is a basilica located in the middle of Zaragoza, in the old part of the city. During Fiestas del Pilar the population increasese from 600,000 to over 2,000,000. The most important celebration takes place on the 12th October, "The offering of flowers" to the Virgin, who is removed from the Basilica and exhibited in a platform placed on the square where the temple lies.
