Mannheim, the second-largest city in the Bundesland of Baden-Württemberg, is located at the confluence of the River Rhine and the River Neckar in the northwestern corner of Baden-Württemberg. The Rhine separates Mannheim from the city of Ludwigshafen, just to the west of it in Rhineland-Palatinate.
  Pforzheim 
Pforzheim is located at the gate to the Black Forest. It is world-famous for its jewelry and watch-making industry. Until 1565 it was the home to the Margraves of Baden. Because of that it gained the nickname "Goldstadt" or Golden City.

  Tübingen   -   City of Tubingen
 This Swabian university town of 87,000 inhabitants and 22,000 students combines the flair of a lovingly restored medieval centre of town with the colorful bustle and typical atmosphere of a young and cosmopolitan students' town. The old town of Tübbingen survived the Second World War due to the city's lack of heavy industry. Visitors form everywhere come to wander through one of the few completely intact historic Altstädte in Germany. The highlights of Tübingen include its crooked cobblestone lanes, narrow-stair alleyways picking their way through the hilly terrain, streets lined with canals and well-maintained traditional half-timbered houses.
  Ulm and New Ulm   -   City of Ulm
Ulm, founded around 850, is rich in history and traditions as a former Free Imperial City. Ulm lies at the point where the rivers Blau and Iller join the Danube. The city has very old trading traditions dating from medieval times and a long history of industrialisation.
Around Ulm : the caves and castles in the Swabian Alb, the baroque churches and castles in Upper Swabia, romantic town in the Bavarian-Swabia and the winter and hiking paradise in the Allgäu.
